we all want proof, right?

Hey Reader!

Today we’re chatting all about the phenomenon called “social proof” and why it matters on your website.

To put it simply, social proof is those powerful trust signals that turn website visitors into paying clients.

If you’ve been reading my emails for a while, you know I’m all about strategic design that gets results. And today, I’m sharing my best practices for using social proof effectively on your website.

Here are my top tips for making social proof work harder for your business:

👉 1. Ditch the Generic Testimonials

No more “Jenny was great!” Instead, focus on specific results and transformations. Think: “After launching my new website, my consultation bookings doubled in the first month.”

👉 2. Strategic Placement Matters

Put testimonials where they count — near pricing, next to contact forms, and anywhere decisions are being made.

👉 3. Keep it Fresh

Outdated testimonials from 2020? Time for a refresh! Build testimonial collection into your client workflow.

👉 4. Mix Your Media

Text testimonials are just the start. Add: - Client photos - Video testimonials - Results screenshots - Award badges

👉5. Make it Measurable

Share real numbers when possible: — “Leads increased by 50%” — “Booked 10 new clients” — “Revenue grew by 30%”

This week on the podcast, I dive deeper into these strategies and more!
