Hi Reader! You’ve been putting yourself out there...posting, networking, showing up and then you open your inbox and check your inquiries. Nothing. Not slow, just nothing. You tell yourself it’s fine, it’s just a quiet stretch, business is cyclical. But underneath all that, there’s a quieter thought that keeps making its way to the surface...is something actually wrong with my website??? Before you rewrite a single word of your copy or touch your homepage, I want you to do one thing first. Go to your website right now and fill out your own contact form the way a client would. Use a real email address, write a real message, hit submit, and then go look in your inbox. Did it arrive? Check your spam folder too. I’ve worked with business owners who had a broken form sitting on their site for months with absolutely no idea, because there’s no error message when this happens. The inquiries just quietly stop, and the business owner assumes something is wrong with their messaging or their offer. Sometimes the door is just locked from the inside. If your form is working and you’re still not hearing anything, there are three more places to look and I walk through all of them in this week’s episode of Website Design Made Simple. You can listen here: What I'd Do If My Website Got Zero Inquiries This Month [Ep 147] If any of this resonates and you’d love a second set of eyes on your site, a website coaching call is a great place to start. You've got this, P.S. Zero inquiries is data, not a verdict. It almost always means something specific is off and that can be fixed! |
Every week you will get one (yup, just 1!) email from me, like friends chatting over coffee, that contain different website + marketing tips, updates in the industry and the occasional update on what's happening in my life. I can’t wait to get to know you better this way! ♡
