Hi Reader! So… I need to tell you about a client who came to me ready to burn her website down and start over. "Cooked" as my 11-year-old son would say. She’d already paid for one redesign. A year later, things still weren’t working. She wanted to invest in another full rebuild. I looked at her site. The design was fine. The copy was okay. The problem? No clear path for visitors who weren’t ready to reach out yet. No way to stay connected. A contact form and not much else. She didn’t need a new website. She needed to fix three specific things on the one she already had. Here’s what I’ve learned...most people are solving the wrong problem. They rebuild when they should be refining. Or they keep tweaking a site that has a real structural issue no amount of optimization will fix. The decision comes down to five honest questions:
Mostly no → redesign. Mostly yes → optimize. Mixed → targeted fixes on specific pages. This week: Pull up your site on your phone and answer those five questions out loud. That’s it. The answers will tell you more than any redesign quote will. Listen here: Stop Rebuilding Your Website When This Is All You Need Not sure what YOUR site actually needs? A coaching call is a great place to start. You've got this, P.S. You can rearrange furniture all day. But if the foundation is cracked, you’ll eventually have to deal with the foundation. |
Every week you will get one (yup, just 1!) email from me, like friends chatting over coffee, that contain different website + marketing tips, updates in the industry and the occasional update on what's happening in my life. I can’t wait to get to know you better this way! ♡
