A year ago this week I recorded an episode about the AI tools that were changing my business. Claude, ChatGPT, Airtable, a handful of prompts I leaned on constantly.

Last month I stood up at a workshop for Her AI Club and shared something completely different. Not new tools. A different way of using the ones I already had.

I realized somewhere between then and now that I stopped asking AI questions one at a time. I started building things that just run.

Here's the thing. Prompting is helpful, but it still needs you there every single time. A system runs whether you show up or not.

The one that changed the most for me is something I built after a coffee chat call. I'd have a great conversation with someone, they'd mention needing a certain kind of connection, and my brain would blank. (mom brain hardcore!) I only ever thought of the same one or two people, even though I know so many more.

So I built something that takes the transcript from that call, pulls out who the person is and what they need, and then goes through my whole network to suggest three people who'd be a genuinely good match. It even suggests when I should check back in with them.
