you probably have too many pages on your website

Helllo my friend!!!

Quick question.

How many pages does your website have right now? 4? 10? 20?

And how many of those pages are actually helping you get clients?

If you’re like most small business owners I work with, you probably have way more pages than you need. And those extra pages? They’re making things harder, not easier.

Here’s the problem

When someone lands on your website, they should know who you are, what you do, and where to go next in about three seconds. (or less!)

But if your navigation has 10 items? They’re overwhelmed. They leave.

Plus, every page needs to be updated and maintained. More pages means more work for you.

Pages you probably don’t need

A separate “Meet the Team” page. Just put your team on your about page.

An “Our Process” page. Put your process on your services page where people are already reading about what you offer.

A “Why Choose Us” page. Your entire website should be answering that question!

A separate “Testimonials” page. Sprinkle them throughout your site instead, right next to your call to action buttons.

A “Resources” page that’s just a link dump. (I’m totally guilty of this one. 🤣)

What you actually need

Homepage. Your front door.

About page. Where you build trust.

Services page. What you offer and how you help.

Contact page. Make it easy to get in touch.

Blog page (if you blog).

That’s it. Four or five core pages. Start simple, get those right, then expand strategically if you need to.

This week, do this

Look at your website navigation. Which pages are actually helping you make clients? Which are just clutter?

I guarantee there are pages you can consolidate or delete.
